Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA)

The Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) is the main law that deals with Western Australia’s industrial relations system. It sets up the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission, allows employees to make unfair dismissal and denial of contractual benefits claims, and allows the Western Australian Industrial Commission to make awards and industrial agreements.
