National high income threshold

The national high income threshold is $145,400 from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019. The amount is calculated in accordance with regulation 2.13 of the Fair Work Regulations 2009 (Cth).
If you’re a national system employee and you earn more than the national high income threshold, then:

• you may not be eligible to make an unfair dismissal claim; and
• a modern award which usually covers employees in your industry might not apply to you.
